Admin toggle
- Admins can enable or disable Miro Assist via their Admin settings.
Access
- Miro Assist is only available for Members. Guests and visitors cannot use Miro Assist

How to enable/disable Miro Assist

1. 1. Go to your profile settings by clicking the Main menu icon > Preferences > Profile settings
    You can also do this from the dashboard by clicking your avatar in the top right corner and choosing Settings
  2. From the panel at left, click Feature access
  3. In the Feature enablement panel under “Miro Assist” you’ll see three options:
    No one can use - this turns off Miro Assist for your entire company
    Everyone can use - this turns on Miro Assist for your entire company
    Specific teams can use - you can select which teams can use Miro Assist
    
    💡 You can enable Miro Assist for up to 10 selected teams. A recommended practice is to start with one team to test out the capabilities, then expand to other teams before rolling out across the organization.
  4. Make your selection. The change will be effective immediately
  5. Additionally, if you are on Enterprise plan you can accept the Terms for everyone in your organization by clicking Accept.Miro Assist feature settings

FAQ

I’m an Admin and want to enable/disable Miro Assist, how can I do this?

Admins can use the toggle in their profile settings to enable/disable Miro Assist. Steps can be found in the “How to enable/disable Miro Assist” section above.

Why is Miro Assist in beta?

The beta program allows us to gain valuable user feedback to improve Miro Assist as a service. If you have Admin-related feedback, please share it with your Miro contact person.

How will my data be used?

The input data submitted through Miro Assist are used solely to generate a response from the AI model and provide that response back to the user. Depending on the AI feature used, the AI model might be hosted in Miro or in Microsoft Azure AI. In both cases, the input data submitted are not used for model training, and content and usage data will be used according to Miro’s Privacy Policy.

Where is my data processed?

Data is processed on servers that reside in the EU.

Which AI models does Miro Assist use?

Miro Assist uses multiple models, including Microsoft Azure AI and Miro’s own models, depending on the use case, and of course, takes advantage of the latest advancements in generative AI and language models. The data submitted through Miro Assist is not used for any other purposes, such as model training.

Who owns the intellectual property rights to the content that is created by Miro Assist?

As between Miro and you, Miro asserts no rights to the content that is created by Miro Assist. Rights to the output generated by Miro Assist are determined by the underlying AI providers themselves. For example, in the Microsoft Azure AI (OpenAI terms of use), OpenAI assigns to you all right, title, and interest to the output generated and returned by its services.
