Deactivating business-sensitive data discovery disables the seamless identification and labeling of common categories of sensitive business information using Miro's built-in machine learning labels.
If you use business-sensitive data discovery labels in auto-classification, you cannot deactivate the business-sensitive data discovery feature. This is because deactivating business-sensitive data discovery might impact automatic classification and guardrails applied to content. To deactivate it, you must first remove all business-sensitive data discovery labels from auto-classification. Once you deactivate business-sensitive data discovery, admins lose the ability to configure business-sensitive data discovery labels in auto-classification, and they can no longer view related boards or matches in the Data Discovery Overview page and in the Content Explorer.
To deactivate business-sensitive data discovery, perform the following steps:
✏️ To deactivate business-sensitive data discovery, you must have the Sensitive Content Admin role. To request for the Sensitive Content Admin role, contact your Company Admin.
- Go to your Miro settings.
- On the left pane, under Enterprise Guard, click Data discovery.
- On the Data discovery page, click the Configuration tab.
- In the Business-sensitive section, click the Manage button.
- In the slide-out panel, click Deactivate.
