Access Miro Insights
To access Miro Insights, from your Miro dashboard on the sidebar select Insights. Miro Insights opens in a new tab. The Insights dashboard shows example data.
Miro Insights quick start
The following procedure gets you up and running with Miro Insights.
Follow these steps:
- In the Integrations view, connect your tools. For example, your CRM and feedback tools like Gong, Slack, Zendesk, and Zapier.
- Import your features.
Use your connected task-management tool, or a CSV file.💡 For the best AI suggestions in Miro Insights, ensure each feature has a description.
- To enable the full power of the Miro Insights backlog and roadmaps, accept some AI suggestions.

This section walks through each step and available view in Miro Insights to help you start prioritizing your backlog, and get AI suggestions for development.

How to connect an integration to Miro Insights
The following procedure explains how to connect an integration to Miro Insights. To learn which integrations Miro recommends, see Integrations.
- Ensure that you have Company admin permissions in Miro.
- Ensure that you have admin permissions for the integration you want to connect. For example, Jira, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
Follow these steps:
- In Miro Insights, on the sidebar select Integrations.
- For a given integration, at the end of the row select Connect.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- (Optional) Repeat steps 1–3 for each integration you want to connect.
You have successfully connected an integration to Miro Insights.
Miro Insights dashboard and sidebar
The Insights dashboard shows your data, and includes access to Settings, search, and the Insights sidebar. To access Settings, select the gear icon at the top of the sidebar.

The Miro Insights sidebar shows the following views that help you take action on your customer data:

Prioritization
Organizes features in development and suggests new features based on customer feedback and other business inputs like ROI. -
Roadmap
Visualizes feature development in a centralized and AI-enhanced roadmap. -
Feedback
Itemizes all customer feedback and provides related and AI-suggested items. -
Companies
Connects your CRM to help prioritize features based on revenue. -
Integrations
Enables you to connect Miro Insights to other tools, like Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, and Zoom, which syncs customer details, conversations, feedback, and requests with Miro Insights.
The Insights sidebar also includes the following options:

Using Miro Insights
This section provides context to help you start using Miro Insights.

Prioritization
Use the Prioritization view to prioritize your product backlog, and decide what to build next.
The Prioritization view enables you to surface and organize your feature opportunities, based on customer insights and revenue, for example.
Connect tools like Salesforce, Gong, Jira, and Zoom to get the most out of Prioritization.
💡 Connect Jira to Miro Insights to see development information like tracking ids.
Select a feature in the Title column to see all details and associated feedback.
To share insights, select the three dots (...) in the top-right. Select Share to copy a URL to your clipboard, or select Export as CSV. You can share the collated information from Miro Insights with your engineering, design, or leadership teams, for example.
AI Suggestions
Miro Insights analyzes your customer feedback for key themes, and provides AI-generated suggestions for development. AI suggestions are shown with purple highlight and text.
You can export and share AI suggestions like any other feature in the Prioritization view.
The Prioritization view shows AI suggestions for features based on key themes discovered from customer feedback.
💡 Toggle AI Suggestions in the top-right of the Prioritization view.
Roadmap
The Roadmap enables teams to kick off design and engineering workflows, and visualizes each feature on a development roadmap. The Roadmap also leverages data from the task and roadmapping integrations that you connect, like Asana, Jira, and Monday.com.
To get started, in the Roadmap view select Add from backlog, or Create Feature. The roadmap automatically shows backlog items that have target dates.
💡 Use Roadmap to show which feature opportunities have the highest impact.
Feedback
Miro Insights continuously tracks your customer feedback to surface key themes and suggest features for development, from your backlog or as an AI suggestion. The Feedback view also tracks feedback post-release, enabling you to iterate and improve with insight.
To get started, ensure that you have completed How to connect an integration to Miro Insights, and connected your CRM tool.
💡 You can also connect your CRM in the Companies view.
In the Miro Insights sidebar, select Feedback. Then select an item in the Feedback column.
The Feedback view enables you to prioritize and track development before and after release.
Companies
The Companies view in Miro Insights helps you to prioritize feature opportunities based on revenue. You can connect your CRM tool directly in the Companies view.
Select a company in the Name column to see details like deal value and type, and associated feedback. To export and share the collated information, select the three dots (...) in the top-right.
Integrations
View and manage your integrations. Miro Insights matches incoming customer conversations and feedback with features, requests, and AI suggestions.
To enable the full power of Miro Insights, Miro recommends the following integrations:

Settings
To access Miro Insights setting, select the gear icon at the top of the sidebar. You can access and specify settings for company logo, team, notifications, billing, and integrations.

Continuous monitoring in Miro Insights
Miro Insights continuously monitors feedback and success metrics to help you track, prioritize, and refine feature opportunities and iteration.
All content that you connect through integrations is collated and associated with a given feature, which provides a single source for managing your project, before and after release.
