- Consultant and Team plan differences
3.1. Team plan
3.2. Consultant plan
3.3. Why choose the Consultant plan?
The Consultant plan is a plan with built-in Team privacy: users from Team A are not able to see users in Team B, even though both Teams are under the Consultant plan umbrella.
A team in Miro is a collection of boards and projects created by users that are part of this team. By having a private, secure team for each client you will be able to streamline sharing boards and projects and speed up collaboration using the Share with the Team feature.
A user who is a member of several teams within your Consultant account requires one paid license only.
- Switching users between Full and Occasional
At any time, you can switch an existing user between Full and Occasional. Their experience will not change at all, because this update only affects how you pay for their license. On the Users tab in the Licenses column, it will display the amount of Day Passes consumed by each of the Occasional users, and the number will turn red when a user has consumed over 10 Day Passes and when it makes more financial sense to switch them to a Full User.
- Converting to Non-team Collaborator
If you transition a user from Occasional/Full to a Non-team Collaborator, they will only retain access to boards that have been shared with them directly. Boards they have been able to access because they are shared with the Team or inside a project will no longer be accessible.
Consultant and Team Plan Differences
Working remotely with multiple clients and trying to understand which plan would suit you best? This article will help you decide.
The Team plan helps organize collaboration within distributed teams of more than 2 people. If you and your colleagues need to work together on the same projects this plan would be the way for you. All the members of the team are able to create and edit team boards and can also invite unlimited external Commenters and Viewers outside of the team. The plan provides access to the basic and also all the collaborative features Miro has to offer. More on that can be found in this article.
The Consultant plan is tailored to professional consultants working with clients on a full-time or project basis and/or consultants that organize workshops. The Consultant plan has some advanced features of the Enterprise plan while also allowing to securely manage different clients that are not connected to each other and keep their data separate.
Why choose the Consultant plan?
The multiple teams feature allows you to collaborate with all of your clients using a single Miro account. Advanced access right management helps ensure that your clients only see those boards that are shared with them and belong to their project without seeing or having access to boards of other clients.
Take advantage of cost-efficient pricing model designed for consulting teams that have numerous occasional collaborators in various projects they run in Miro. Day Passes will allow you to separate and attribute specific content to specific users who will access your boards securely and on a temporary basis.
