Consultant plan features
A team in Miro is a collection of boards and projects created by users that are part of this team. Consultant plan allows you to create a separate workspace for each client and supports built-in team privacy: users from Team A are not able to see users in Team B, even though both Teams are under the Consultant plan umbrella.
✏️ A user who is a member of several teams within your Consultant account requires one paid license only.
Inviting users on Consultant plan
The plan provides several ways of sharing your work with other users. Like with any other paid plan, you can invite Full team members, free Non-team Viewers and Commenters to particular boards, and make your boards accessible to anyone via a public link.
By activating Day Passes you get some additional options:
- Inviting team members with Occasional license (available with Day Passes enabled)
When inviting new members to your Consultant account, you can choose the type of license for your invitees - Full or Occasional (with a Day Pass). If you are planning to collaborate with a person on a regular basis, feel free to select the Full license. If the invitee needs access to your account several times a month, you may add them with an Occasional license. The user will consume Day Passes ($3 each) when opening boards on which they have Editor rights. One Day Pass equals 24-hour access to the account.
- Sharing particular boards with Non-team Editors via email (available with Day Passes enabled)
Day Passes also allow you to share boards with Non-team editors via email. The option works perfectly if you wish to invite an external Editor without making your board public. Take a look at this page where we compare Guest Editors who access via a public link and Editors invited via email.
Consultant and Team plan differences
Team plan is perfect for organizing collaboration within a distributed team working together on the same projects, while Consultant plan is tailored to professional consultants working with clients on a full-time or project basis and/or consultants that organize workshops. Why choose Consultant plan?
The multiple teams feature allows you to collaborate with all of your clients using a single Miro account. Creating a separate team for each client helps to ensure that your clients only see those boards that are shared with them and belong to their project. Learn how to create a new team on Consultant plan.
Take advantage of cost-efficient pricing model designed for consulting teams that have numerous occasional collaborators in various projects they run in Miro. Day Passes will allow you to separate and attribute specific content to specific users who will access your boards securely and on a temporary basis.
