Personal (Premium) Plan transition

On March 15th all our Premium plan users were transitioned automatically to our Starter plan with a 100% discount for 1 year. During this 1 year free, both the subscription and added members/seats are included.

What does this mean for you? 

For active and paying customers with Premium/Personal subscriptions: 

• As loyal customers of Miro, we would like to offer a new Starter plan for 1 year completely free of charge. The subscription will be set to cancel and expire at the end of the billing year (March 15, 2023). If you specifically agree on the automatic renewal, your subscription will stay active after the year. You can accept the automatic renewal either in the banner shown for Admins after the transition or in the email sent to you earlier. Please rest assured that your content will not get affected
• After the year, if you would like to continue your subscription, you will pay for the number of members in your team: $8 per user per month billed annually. If it's only you on the team, then your subscription cost will not change
• If you decide to switch to Business Plan during the year, your free year on Starter plan will be stopped. You will see a notification banner about that if you attempt to change the plan

Benefits: 

• 1 year free subscription and with as many seats (members) as you want 
• Subscription payments will begin on March 15, 2023, with the yearly billing period

  ✏️ If you wish to switch to monthly payments, cancel your subscription before March 15, 2023 (or simply do not accept the renewal), wait until it's expired on March 15, and renew by purchasing a monthly subscription

For expired Premium/Personal subscriptions: 

• Your team will be migrated to a new Starter plan in its expired state. You will still be able to view all your boards and if you wish to start using Miro again, all boards will become editable once the subscription is purchased. Learn how you can reactivate your subscription

What’s new for you on Starter plan

• Starter plan features such as Reactions, Stickers and Emojis, Visual notes, Wireframe library, Board content settings, Attention management, etc.
  
  
• Multiple Admins per team. You can grant Admin rights to other members on your team. Team Admins can manage users, apps and plugins, billing, and permissions. Learn more: Manage Starter and Education plan
  
  
• New sharing options. On Starter plan, you can invite:
• Members. Members get access to all your team-shared content and can create their own boards in your team
• Guests with view and comment access (free of charge). Guests get access to the board explicitly shared with them and can see the board on their dashboards
• Visitors with view/comment/edit access (free of charge). Visitors can access your public boards by following the board link.

All users currently invited to your boards will get converted to guest viewers or commenters. Previously invited editors can be given editor rights again in two ways:

• Share the board for public editing
• Invite them as members to your team. Every member needs a paid license in your team. However, you can invite as many free members to your team as you wish free of charge from March 15, 2022, to March 15, 2023
