Add-ons unlock features and functionalities that enhance the Miro platform. For example, the Miro Prototypes add-on enables you to use AI and advanced prototype features.
Miro currently offers the following add-ons:

Miro AI credit add-on
Increases your monthly allocation of Miro AI credits. -
Miro Prototypes add-on
Generates AI prototypes from screenshots, diagrams, docs, images, or selected brainstorm objects, and includes additional AI credits. - (Enterprise only) Enterprise Guard
Enhances security and governance to help organizations identify and manage sensitive content inside their subscription.
Purchase Add-ons
As Billing admin or Company admin, you can purchase Miro add-ons for your organization anytime during your billing period.
✏️ For Enterprise subscriptions, Company admins must contact their account team.
Follow these steps:
- From your Home dashboard, in the top-right click Upgrade.
- A modal opens that shows pricing for plans and add-ons.
- Scroll down to review add-ons.
- For the add-on you want to purchase, click Add to subscription.

If applicable, select the amount of credits you want to include with your add-on.
✏️ The Miro Prototypes add-on includes a minimum of 350 AI credits per month, which are allocated to your organization. For more information, see Miro Prototypes add-on.
- To complete your purchase, follow the on-screen instructions.
You are billed using the payment method set up for your organization.
Add-on billing and renewals
Add-ons are billed with your existing plan subscription and linked to your organization. You can purchase an add-on anytime during your billing period, and you pay a prorated amount for time remaining before your next renewal. Your add-ons renew automatically with your plan subscription in one invoice.
- For monthly plans, the add-on renews each month at the monthly rate.
- For yearly plans, the add-on renews annually.
💡 Yearly add-on pricing includes a 20% discount.
AI credit usage
The AI credit limit for your organization includes plan and add-on credits. Your AI credits apply to the organization and can be consumed for any AI actions in Miro by any member with a full license.
For monthly and yearly plans, AI credits reset monthly.

Cancel Add-ons
You can cancel add-ons any time. After cancelation, add-ons remain active on your account until the end of your current billing period.
Follow these steps:
- From your Miro dashboard, click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Admin console | Settings.
- On the left sidebar, click Billing.
- In the Billing actions section, for the add-on you want to cancel click Cancel add-on.
- A dialog box opens.
- Click Continue to cancel.
The Billing view now shows the date when the add-on is removed at the end of your current billing period. When the add-on is removed, the AI credit limit for your organization reduces to the limit corresponding with your plan allocation.
✏️ You can reactivate the add-on anytime before renewal.
Plans eligible for add-ons
Add-ons are available for paid monthly or yearly subscriptions, namely Starter, Business, and Enterprise plans.
If you are on a Free plan, learn how to upgrade your plan.
If your plan has expired, then you must reactivate your subscription.
If you are currently on a Business plan free trial, wait until the trial ends then purchase your add-ons.
