Create and share Miro boards, get notifications, and more with Miro for Google Chat.
Install and connect Miro for Google Chat
- Go to Miro on the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Click Install.
- Select the Google account you want to connect to the add-on.
- When the add-on is installed, you’ll see Miro in the Apps section of Google Chat and receive a welcome message from Miro.
- Click Connect.
- Select the Miro team you’d like to connect.
- Once done, you’ll be redirected to Google Chat and receive a success message there.
Commands in Google Chat
- /connect - Connect your Miro account to Google Workspace.
- /disconnect - Disconnect your Miro account from Google Workspace.
- /unsubscribe - Keep your Miro account connected to Google Workspace, but stop receiving notifications in Google Chat.
- /subscribe - Start receiving notifications in Google Chat.
- /createboard - Create a new Miro board from within the Google Chat. You'll have options to name the board and add a description.
- /help - Get help for how to use the app.
Miro Notifications in Google Chat
You can access a variety of Miro notifications within Google Chat.
- Comment added to a board or thread you follow.
- You're mentioned in a comment.
- You're invited to a board.
- A user requests access to your board.
- An access request is approved or expires.
- You're invited to a space.
- You're invited to a team.
- A user is requesting access to a team.
