Precise resizing

Resize widgets using numeric dimensions for pixel-perfect sizing in Formats.

✏️ Precise resizing is available in select Formats, including Diagramming, Miro Prototypes, and Miro Slides.

Enter Focus mode by clicking the Focus mode icon on your Format's context menu.
Click on the widget you'd like to resize. Supported widgets include text, images, stickies, stencils, and prototyping shapes.
In the context menu for the widget, click the Resize icon.
A dimensions dialog will open below the menu.
Enter the pixel dimensions for width and height.
Press enter to commit the changes.

NOTE: In text boxes, only the width can be specified. Height will adjust automatically based on the contents of the text box.

TIP: You can zoom up to 2000% on the board for more precise viewing and size adjustments.

Pixel ruler

In addition to precise resizing, you can also access the pixel ruler to view the precise distances between two or more objects on the board.

To view the pixel ruler:

Select one or more objects on the board.
Press and hold Option on your keyboard.
Hover over the object you want to measure the distance to.
Rulers will appear showing the vertical and horizontal distances between the objects.
