Who can do it: Company admins
Which plans: Enterprise
Which platforms: Browser
As Company admin, you can migrate your Miro account from an Enterprise plan to Business.
Initiate migration from Enterprise to Business
To get started, contact Miro Support and schedule the deactivation of your Enterprise account. Ensure that you give yourself an appropriate timeline to convert or remove users with Free and Free Restricted licenses, which are not available licenses on a Business plan.
✏️ Flexible licensing (FLP) is Enterprise only. If you want to migrate from Enterprise with FLP to a Business plan, ensure that you understand Business plan licensing.
Prepare for Enterprise to Business migration
To ensure accurate billing and license conversion, ensure you right-size your account with the correct number of Full Member licenses.
All Enterprise Flexible license (FLP) users—including Free, Free Restricted, and Guest—convert to a Full Member license under the Business Plan.
Before your Enterprise deactivation date, you can assign the Full Member license to users, or remove users from your account. This practice right-sizes your account for your Business subscription, and ensures that your Business invoice reflects the correct pricing.
Convert or remove Free and Free Restricted licenses
For users with Free and Free Restricted licenses, ensure you complete the following steps before your Enterprise deactivation date:
-
In Admin Console, go to Users > All users.
💡 You can filter users by license type.
- For a given user with a Free license, click the three-dots (...) and select one of the following:
- Change to Full Member
- Deactivate
- For a given user with a Free Restricted license, click the three-dots (...) and select one of the following:
- Change to Full Member
- Change to Guest
- Deactivate
Reactivate your account
On your Enterprise deactivation date, all content in your account is view-only. On your dashboard, a yellow banner instructs you to select your Business plan and reactivate your account.
Follow the on-screen instructions. The number of licenses you purchase must be equal to the number of members in your subscription.
