Miro AI with images

Use Miro AI to modify images you upload to Miro.

Remove image backgrounds

1. Select an uploaded or pasted image on your board.
   The context menu displays.
2. From the context menu, select Miro AI.
   A drop-down menu opens.
3. Select Remove background.

Get image alt-text suggestions

1. Select an uploaded or pasted image on your board.
   The context menu displays.
2. From the context menu, select ALT.
   The Image description dialog opens. Miro AI automatically generates a suggestion.
3. Click Insert.
   The generated suggestion is automatically saved.
4. (Optional) Edit the inserted suggestion. Changes are automatically saved.
5. Close the Image description dialog.

✏️ Generating alt text with Miro AI does not consume AI credits.

Convert images to Diagrams or Miro Prototypes (Limited Availability)

Miro AI enables you to convert images of diagrams or Miro Prototypes into fully editable versions on your Miro board. Your diagram images can even be of hand-drawn sketches.
