Create Miro Slides with AI

Use Miro AI to speed up the Miro Slides creation process. 

Create Slides with AI

1. Click on the Create with AI () icon above the Creation toolbar.
2. In the Sidekicks panel that opens, click on the Formats tab.
3. Select the Slides Format.
4. Follow the AI prompts to generate a slide deck.
5. Select board objects to add them as context to your Slides.

Create Slides from selected content

To create Slides directly from context provided by objects on your board:

1. Select the board objects you want to include.
2. In the contextual toolbar, click the Miro AI icon.
3. In the dropdown menu, click on Slides.

Create Slides from Sidekicks

To create Slides using a Sidekick:

1. Open the Sidekick you want to use.
2. Click on the Slides icon at the bottom of the prompt box.
3. Enter your prompt and press enter.
4. Your Slides will be created on the board.

Edit Slides with AI

Before committing your Slides to the board, you can use Miro AI to edit individual slides.

1. In the AI prompt, click on Edit a slide.
2. Select the slide you’d like to edit.
3. Enter a prompt to make edits to the slide and press enter.
4. Review the edits and iterate if necessary. 

Add Slides with AI

If you need to add additional slides, you can do so with Miro AI before committing your Slides to the board.

1. In the AI prompt, click on Add a slide.
2. Enter the topic or other information in the prompt and press enter.
3. Review the new slide and iterate if necessary.

Commit slides to the canvas

When you’re finished using Miro AI to edit or add Slides, click on the Add to canvas button to commit the result to your board.

Once the Slides have been committed to the canvas, you can make manual edits to any of your Slides as needed.

Best practices for AI Slides generation

To get the best results from AI Slides, follow these tips:

• Set up your brand colors: Configure your brand palette in Miro Brand Center so that AI Slides automatically apply your brand colors.
• Customize colors in your prompt: If you don’t have Brand Center set up, or want to use different colors, mention them in your prompt - either by describing the color or using a HEX code.
• Define structure and layout: You can guide the AI by specifying the desired flow (e.g., “5-slide deck: overview, challenges, solution, results, next steps”).
• Specify audience and tone: Indicate who the presentation is for (e.g., “for executives,” “for a client pitch”) so that AI adjusts the tone and style accordingly.
