You can cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, you will still have access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. Understanding the cancellation process and its implications allows for a smooth transition, whether you are moving to a different plan or no longer require the service.
Cancel your Business or Starter subscription
- Ensure you have switched to the team associated with the subscription you want to cancel.
- From your Miro dashboard, click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Admin console | Settings.
- On the left sidebar, click Billing.
- In the Billing actions section, click Cancel subscription.
A dialog box appears. - Click Continue to cancel.
- (Business) Click the Cancel subscription option, and then click the Cancel subscription button.
- Select the reason for canceling your subscription.
- Click Continue to cancel.
- (Optional) If you are switching to another tool, select the appropriate option.
- Click Cancel subscription.
A dialog box appears and confirms your cancellation.

What happens after you cancel your Business or Starter subscription

Notification
When the subscription is canceled, all admins on the team receive an email notification confirming that the subscription is set to expire at the end of the current billing period. -
Plan changes
Admins are unable to change the team size or the plan type unless the subscription is reactivated[link]. -
Board access
When the billing period ends, all Miro boards become locked in view-only mode for all team members. Your boards are not deleted. To regain full access, you can either downgrade to a free plan or renew your subscription. -
Refunds and payments
Miro does not offer refunds for any unused time on your subscription. However, you will retain access to all paid features until the end of the paid period. If there is an unpaid invoice for additional licenses at the time of cancellation, your registered card is charged immediately for the outstanding amount. For more information, see Miro billing
