Sometimes users who connect Miro with Google (by logging in with their Google account or using Google integrations) receive the following error message:
An error message during Google authorization
In this case, the best solution is to remove all Google accounts associated with Miro and set it up again. Here's a step-by-step instruction on how to do it:
1. Go to your Google account.
Getting to Google account settings
2. Open the Security tab.
Google account Security settings
3. Go to the Third-party apps with account access section and click Manage third-party access.
The option to manage third-party access in Google settings
4. Find Miro on the list. Click Remove Access.
The option to remove Miro access to Google
As an additional step, once you log in, please remove all Google integrations in the Integrations section of your Miro Profile settings.
Log out from your Google accounts
Having gone through the suggested steps, feel free to re-associate your Miro profile with your Google account.
We understand that the proposed procedure might seem quite effort- and time-consuming, but the reward will be getting your Google Drive integration back to work.
✏️ If you cannot log in to your Miro profile via Google, please try to log in using standard credentials (login and password). If you do not remember the password, you can restore it using this guide.
