Supported functionality
The Mobile app currently provides limited functionality compared to the browser version, Desktop App, and Tablet App. Here is a list of the features available in the app:
- Creating and sharing boards (sharing with visitors for editing is not supported)
- Adding boards to Favorites (★Starred) and filtering them on the dashboard
- Filtering boards by projects
- Adding text, shapes, sticky notes, frames, and comments, uploading photos, and creating pen drawings
- Using lasso and highlighter
- Following comment threads
- Capturing notes - bring your post-its from the wall to the board in a single photo,
- SAML-based Single Sign-On
- Access to the mobile version of the Help Center (via your preferred mobile browser) and the opportunity to submit a request to the Miro team (on paid plans only)
⚠️ Note that many features (such as board export, presentation mode, video chat, voting, etc.) are not supported on mobile. Upgrading and purchasing new seats are not available in the Mobile app and in mobile browsers.
💡 The minimum iOS version supporting the app is 12, the minimum Android version is 6. If the app is not supported by your mobile phone, it is also possible to access the mobile web version (which allows viewing boards and leaving comments) via one of the supported browsers. Although there’s no special button for commenting, you can do it by tapping the screen and holding it for a while.
