Let people from your company easily find and join existing teams in Miro. The right team signup mode saves a lot of time and effort, yet is reliable in terms of security and access rights.
The registration procedure will include this step
Choosing the team signup mode
To set up the signup mode go to the Account Settings > Permissions > Team signup mode. You have three options:
- Invitation only
New members must be invited. All teams are hidden.
- Discoverable and open to anyone with a certain domain
Open teams are visible and can be joined by any member whose domain was added and approved. Make sure there are free seats available in your team. If there is no free seat the team won't be open for joining. Public domains (e.g. gmail.com, yahoo.com) are not allowed.
- Discoverable, but open only after the admin's approval
Open teams are visible and can be seen by any user whose domain was added and approved. Users have an option to send a request to join the team. The request is received by all administrators (both Team level and Company level) and must be accepted for a user to join.

Adding and verifying the domain
Type a domain name and click Add. To verify the domain, please provide a valid email address and click Send verification email.
Verifying your domain
We'll send a short message to confirm that the domain exists and was written correctly. This verification also ensures your domain security as no one outside your company can add your domain to the list. Open the email and click Verify domain.

Now anyone with this domain can join the team. Team Admin will always receive a notification whenever there's a new team member:
