If you're having difficulties logging into Miro, explore possible solutions below.
|I cannot log into Miro via Google||The connection between your Google account and Miro has been disrupted||
Log in using standard credentials (email and password). You can restore your password if you don't remember/have it.
Then reset the connection following these steps
|When I try to log in via Google, I get into a Miro profile that's not mine||There is a mixup between your Miro and Google addresses. This usually happens if you registered with Miro with an email different from the Google address you're trying to use at the moment. Having used the second address you have created a second profile||
|I don't remember my password and don't get an email from Miro when trying to reset it||
1. The email gets placed in Spam or another folder
2. A security measure may be preventing the letter from reaching your inbox filtering it out. This is common if you are using Miro with a corporate email address
|1. Check out Spam, Promotions, Junk, Social, and Updates folders to see if the password reset email is there
2. Please reach out to your system administrator and ask them to allowlist Miro

I am often getting logged out of Miro
|Your Enterprise organization uses Session Idle Timeout - users are being automatically logged out after a certain period of inactivity||Company Admins can disable the setting|
|If you access Miro in a browser, it is possible that your browser is set to delete cooking after closing. For example, see Chrome's article about it here||Your Miro working session is kept in the browser's memory, so if that's cleared you have to start a new session and authenticate anew which requires entering your credentials.
However, if your cookies are allowed and saved, Miro will be able not to ask you to log in again for up to 2 weeks (while still being able to provide you with all the app updates)
|I cannot log in to Miro using email and password in Safari (the page gets refreshed and nothing happens)||Third-party cookies are disabled on your end. Miro requires third-party cookies to function||Please enable third-party cookies in your browser settings to sign in. Alternatively, we can recommend using Google Chrome|
|I can successfully log into Miro via a browser but cannot access my profile from the Desktop app||Authentication data are corrupted||Try to reset the application data. If that doesn't help, try to uninstall the app and download the latest version from our website|

Go to App settings > Storage > Clear storage or reinstall the Miro app on your device

If you could not find your case or solution in the table above, please try to log in to Miro using another browser or incognito mode. If everything is fine in the incognito mode of your browser, clear the browser's cache and cookies and log in to Miro in the standard mode. Here is how you can clear the website data in Chrome:
1. Open https://miro.com. Open the Developer tools of Chrome.
2. Then choose the tab called Application > Storage. You will see the blue button called Clear Site Data.
3. Click the button, and this should remove any data of Miro saved in your Chrome browser so you can start a new working session.
