Miro AI Credit Usage Analytics gives admins visibility into how their organization consumes Miro AI credits. Directly in Admin Analytics, the Miro AI credits usage section shows the total credits consumed in the current period alongside a historical usage chart, so you can track trends, understand burn rate, and forecast whether you'll need additional credits. For a deeper look, the Miro AI credits usage details panel breaks down consumption by AI feature, teams, and users.

Switching time periods
The period selector is located in the top-right corner of the Miro AI credits usage details panel. It controls the time period shown across all sections in the panel. The default period is Quarterly. Available options: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly.
Note: The period selector in the panel is independent from the global time range selector on the main Analytics page. Changing it only affects the panel and does not change the rest of the Analytics page.
Hiding individual user data
If your organization needs to restrict visibility into individual employees' AI usage, for example to address legal requirements around employee performance monitoring, you can hide the By users section entirely.
To hide user-level data:
- In Admin Analytics, click the Settings icon (cogwheel) in the top-right corner of the Analytics page.
- Under User privacy, select Exclude stats and analytics of specific users' activity.
- Click Save.
When this setting is enabled, the By users section is hidden from the panel. The By feature and By teams sections remain visible. This setting applies across all analytics in Admin Analytics that display individual user names.
To restore user-level visibility, return to Settings and select Include explicit stats and analytics of users' activity.
FAQs
Where can I see my full Miro AI credit balance?
The Miro AI credits usage section shows total credits consumed for the current period. To see your full Miro AI credit balance including total allocated and available credits, click Open subscription page in the section.
What happens to unused credits at the end of the billing period?
Unused credits do not roll over. Your Miro AI credit balance resets at the start of each new billing period.
Where can I purchase additional credits?
Click Open subscription page in the Miro AI credits usage section to go to Billing and Subscriptions, or see Miro AI Credit Add-on for more information.
Why do different AI features cost different amounts of credits?
Miro uses a weighted credit model where more complex AI capabilities cost more credits than simpler ones. For example, generating slides or a prototype costs more than creating a doc. The credit cost for each feature is determined by Miro's Monetization team. For more information, see Miro AI Credits.
What does "Others" mean in the breakdown sections?
Each breakdown section shows the top 5 items individually and combines everything else into a single Others group. Click the arrow icon next to the section name to open a full list.
Why are the breakdown sections not showing?
If there is no credit usage data for the period selected in the panel, all breakdown sections are hidden. Try switching to a different time period using the period selector in the top-right of the panel.
Who counts as a user in the By users section?
Only licensed members who have consumed credits in the selected period appear in the By users section. Guest users are not tracked for individual credit consumption.
Can I share a specific breakdown view with a colleague?
Yes. The full list views for features, teams, and users each have a unique, shareable URL. The recipient must have organization admin access to view the data.
