Here’s what to do if you have trouble finding a Miro board or if some content on a board has gone missing.
💡 To secure your content, be sure to save board backups.
Board disappeared
If you accidentally deleted a Miro board or one of your boards disappeared there are a few ways to find it.
Check your Miro teams and use search
If you're a member of multiple Miro teams, try switching between your teams on the left sidebar of your dashboard. Then click Boards in this team to see all boards in a specific team.

You can also use search to locate a board.
You may need to apply the Owned by anyone filter to make sure you’re viewing all boards. Filters can also help you narrow your search into boards you own and boards owned by everyone else.

Find the board link in your browser history or inbox
If you still can’t locate the board, look for the board link in your browser history or inbox. As long as you’re the board owner you can restore a board by opening the link. Boards can be restored within 90 days from when they’re deleted.
Check the Trash bin
If you’re a paid plan user and you still can’t locate your board or find the URL, you can try restoring the board from Trash.

Check your custom templates
If the board was located in a paid or Education team, check any custom templates with a similar name - it’s possible that you initially created a template and not a board.
Review any changes to board access
It’s possible that you were removed from the team where your board was located and lost your board access. When removing a user, the Admin can reassign the user's boards or delete them. If the board has not been deleted, you can follow the board link and request access from the current owner. If the board has been deleted, you can ask the Team Admin to recover a deleted board within 90 days.
Board content is missing
If some of your board content has gone missing we have some tips to help you find it.
Check your board history
Open the board and click the Open sidebar icon on the bottom-left corner. In the opened board overview, click the Board history icon. If you see the missing content, in most cases you can easily restore it by clicking the restore icon. However there are some limitations to restoring content.
💡 Users on paid plans can also try using the board versioning feature.

Review your board on the mini-map
If you can’t find the missing content in board history, there’s a chance that the content is still somewhere on your board.
Try checking the mini-map. The mini-map is located in the bottom right corner of your board and gives you an overall view of your content, so if something snuck out of frame you’ll be able to spot it there.
An overall view of the content on your board can be found on the mini-map
