Review boards containing privacy-related information to validate data discovery results.
✏️ To review boards with privacy-related information, you must have the Sensitive Content Admin role. To request the Sensitive Content Admin role, contact your Company Admin.
Review boards from the Boards page
- Click your profile avatar, and then click Admin console.
- On the left sidebar, click Boards.
- Click the Data discovery tab.

Click the board you want to review.
A slide-out panel appears on the right of the screen. -
The slide-out panel allows you to perform the following actions:
- Show or hide privacy-related information: By default, privacy-related information is blacked out. If you want to view it, click the Show sensitive information toggle to turn it on. Click the toggle again to hide it.
- Filter privacy-related information by data category: To view matches belonging to a specific label, click the Privacy-related information tab, and then click the appropriate sensitivity label below the tab.
- Suppress a false positive match: Data discovery may occasionally flag a match that isn't relevant to your organization's security policies, or incorrectly flag data as sensitive (a false positive). To suppress a match, click the vertical three dots beside the match you want to suppress, and then select Hide match. A confirmation dialog shows the match details and explains that hidden matches won't be reported within the scope of the board again. Click Hide match to confirm, or Cancel to back out. The board's classification and applied guardrails update in real time, per your Auto-classification and Intelligent Guardrails configuration.
- Click the next board you want to review, or close the slide-out panel by clicking Close at the top-right of the panel.
