Create with AI enables users to prompt, generate, and iterate on various types of content using Miro AI and Formats. Use Create with AI to prompt Miro AI with existing content on your Miro board, or write your own prompts to generate new content.

Create with AI supports the following Formats:

• Diagrams or mindmap
  Generate and visualize ideas, systems, processes, or connections.
• Docs
  Generate documents like design briefs, summaries, or outlines. For example, interview outlines.
• Images
  Create, iterate, and add images based on prompts and existing board content.
• Kanban
  Organize tasks in columns to track progress, and seamlessly switch between Kanban, Timeline, and Table views to plan, execute, and adjust in one place.
• Miro Prototypes
  Create interfaces for apps, websites, or landing pages.
• Sticky Notes
  Generate ideas for brainstorms, insights, workshops, or roadmaps.
• Tables
  Create tables for planning, tracking, research, backlogs, or analysis.
• Timeline
  Plan or roadmap your project with a customizable and interactive timeline that aligns stakeholders and teams. 

✏️ In Miro, if Create with AI is unavailable above the Creation bar, then contact your Company admin. Company admins must enable Miro AI for your organization.

Access Create with AI

On any Miro board click Create with AI above the Creation bar. The Create with AI panel opens.

From the panel, select one of the following options:

• Sidekicks
  Create a custom AI partner that assists you with building your ideas, solutions, and next steps.
• Formats
  Use Miro AI to generate Docs, diagrams, tables, and more.

Next, the prompting panels opens. To start creating, follow the panel instructions.

Use Create with AI

Create from the prompting panel

The Create with AI prompting panel enables you to prompt Miro AI to generate content. You can optionally select a prompt suggestion, shown as tags in the response box.

In the prompting panel, enter text in the response box inside. You can optionally choose a prompt suggestion.

For some Formats, you can click Advanced processing to reveal the Basic processing option. Use basic for quick results, or use advanced for more relevant results which take more time to create.

Advanced processing is required for images.

💡 Write your prompts with as much detail as possible. You can also select content on your board for additional context and more relevant results.

Refine your prompts

After your content is generated, the prompting panel stays open. To ensure that you achieve the most relevant results, you can continue to prompt Miro AI.

Prompt refinement enables you to try different prompting strategies to achieve your result.

Create with AI uses visual context processing to analyze visual elements on your board.

You can select any content not hidden on your Miro board as context for your prompt. For example, select Diagrams, images, or Sticky notes.

Create from the Miro AI context menu

On your Miro board, you can access Create with AI options from the Miro AI context menu.

For example, select a group of Sticky notes. A toolbar appears above your selection. Click Miro AI, and the context menu opens.

In this example, you can convert Sticky notes into a Doc, for example a meeting summary, or Prototype. You can also cluster your notes by sentiment or keyword.
