Licensing models
Flexible Licensing Program (FLP)
The most common licensing model for Miro Enterprise Plan customers is the Flexible Licensing Program. With FLP you can estimate your organization’s needs and add licenses at no additional upfront cost. Your licenses scale as your usage grows.
Miro stays in contact with you regularly. Twice a year you can reevaluate how many Full licenses you need for your organization. You can remove any licenses you don’t need, and you won’t be billed retroactively.
- No cap on Full licenses
- Unlimited Free licenses
- Auto-upgrade to Full licenses
- External Guests can edit
FLP enables unlimited Free and Free Restricted licenses to all newcomers.
✏️ External guests are guests outside your company domain. They will have an external company email.
Non-flexible licensing (non-FLP)
The non-flexible licensing model bills annually for a pre-set number of licenses. When those licenses are used, extra licenses must be purchased (typically through an order form).
If a non-FLP subscription runs out of licenses, all new users join with a Free Restricted license. These users can be converted to Full as soon as you purchase more licenses or release licenses by removing other Full members.
- Full licenses are capped
- All additional licenses are Free Restricted
- Guests can only view and comment
