Feature activation

In Admin Console, as Company admin you can activate some Miro features for everyone, specific teams, or no one, in your organization. This article describes the Feature activation page in Admin Console. To learn about setting Miro AI capabilities, see Miro AI granular admin controls.

For example, activate a feature for specific teams to evaluate its capabilities, then update access at any time based on the needs of your company and teams.

You can also revoke access to everyone or specific teams anytime. Revoking access to a feature does not delete any content created during its use.

NOTE: If you grant access to a feature when it's in beta, your access settings will remain the same after its release.

NOTE: Keep track of which features are available to users in your Audit logs.

Activate features in Admin Console

1. In Admin Console, go to Organization > Feature activation.
2. For a given feature, on the right set Everyone (Default), Specific teams, or No one. If you select Everyone or No one, your changes are saved. Continue this procedure only if you select Specific teams.
3. If you select Specific teams, click + Add teams. A dropdown menu opens.
4. Search or scroll to find and select teams. Click + to activate the feature for a given team. To remove a team, click x next to the team name.

NOTE: Talktrack enables you to specify which Talktrack features are available to everyone, specific teams, or no one. To learn more, see Talktrack feature activation below.

NOTE: You can grant feature activation for all teams in your organization. Or start with one team to test the feature, then expand to other teams before rolling out to the entire organization.

Talktrack feature activation

A Talktrack is a single or multi-participant video recording created from a live video call in Miro. Talktrack owners can edit and share their Talktracks outside Miro, with complete transcripts.

In Admin Console, Company admins can specify whether everyone, specific teams, or no one, can use any of the following Talktrack features:

• Record Talktracks
• Download recordings
• Video calls
• Private preview
• Record full-screen, other apps, or tabs outside a Miro board
• Automatically transcribe recordings
