The AWS Cost Calculator app provides a straightforward way to estimate AWS service costs directly on your Miro boards. It's especially useful for project managers and IT professionals, streamlining cost estimations for efficient planning.

✏️ Currently, the AWS Cost Calculator supports icons from 6 AWS services, representing a total of 41 icons. These services include EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), EBS (Elastic Block Store), ELB (Elastic Load Balancing), RDS (Relational Database Service), Lambda, and S3 (Simple Storage Service). We are continuously working to expand the range of icons supported by the AWS Cost Calculator to meet the diverse needs of our users.
How to set up and use the AWS Cost Calculator
- Install the AWS Cost Calculator from the Miro Marketplace.
- Open the Miro board where you want to calculate your AWS costs.
- Click More apps (+) in the creation toolbar and search for ‘AWS Cost Calculator’.
- Select AWS Cost Calculator. The AWS Cost Calculator panel will open on the left side of the board.
- Click and drag to select all AWS icons in your diagram. The cost calculator will automatically populate all the AWS icons within your diagram.
- For each AWS icons, click Edit to specify details like Region and Storage type, then click Save service selection.
- After editing all icons, click Calculate to see your total AWS costs.
- To better understand your costs, use the top tabs and dropdown menu to filter costs by time frame (Hour, Month, Year) and Region.

- Open the AWS Cost Calculator panel in your Miro board.
- Click the feedback icon located in the bottom-right of the panel to rate your experience.
