Miro AI offers a collection of intelligent capabilities, including AI Workflows—Sidekicks and Flows—designed to boost organizational efficiency, optimize operational processes, and catalyze inventive thinking throughout your collaborative ideation and strategy processes. As Company admin, you can specify who can use which Miro AI features.
For example, you can enable only specific teams to use beta features, while everyone in your organization can use Miro AI to create diagrams.
The Miro AI section of Admin Console also enables you to specify moderation settings.
By default, everyone in your organization is allowed to use all groups of Miro AI features and capabilities. You can manage access to groups of features and capabilities.
TIP: With Enterprise Guard, you can manage access to individual features and capabilities.
NOTE: In Admin Console, for Data usage you see a message that says AI usage data is not collected. Currently, Miro does not collect AI usage data from Starter, Business, and Enterprise teams and organizations.
Configure Miro AI capabilities

In Admin Console, go to Miro AI > Capabilities.
TIP: Hover over the label that shows the number of models next to the feature or capability. A list appears that shows each model the feature or capability uses.
- For each feature and capability, click Everyone (default), and select one of the following:

Specific teams
The team selector panel opens. Select which teams you want to enable, then click Save. - No one

TIP: With Enterprise Guard, you can manage access to individual features.
Configure Sidekicks permissions
As Company admin, you can specify how your organization uses custom Sidekicks.
In Admin Console, go to Miro AI > Capabilities.
For Sidekicks, click the chevron (>). You can now set any of the following Sidekicks restrictions:

Restrict sharing of company Sidekicks
Limits sharing custom Sidekicks with the entire organization to admins with content-management privileges -
Restrict publishing to Miroverse
Limits publishing custom Sidekicks to Miroverse to admins with content-management privileges -
Restrict use of community Sidekicks from Miroverse
Limits the Sidekicks available to your users to Sidekicks created inside your organization or by Miro
Configure Miro AI moderation
You can select how Miro AI filters harmful or inappropriate content in user prompts.
In Admin Console, go to Miro AI > Moderation.
Select one of the following options:

Minimal
Only severely harmful or inappropriate content is blocked. -
Default
Most harmful or inappropriate content is blocked. -
Strict
All potentially harmful or inappropriate content is blocked.

Enable MCP
Miro’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server enables third-party AI tools to connect securely with Miro content inside your Enterprise organization.
NOTE: MCP is disabled by default.
As Company admin, you can allow users in your organization to connect Miro to MCP-compatible clients.
Follow these steps:
- In Admin Console, go to Apps and integrations > MCP.
- For scope, choose one of the following:

Organization
Any user can authorize an MCP connection to boards they can access -
Selected team(s)
Only users in teams you select can authorize an MCP connection to boards they can access

Organization
- Under Enable MCP, click the toggle to the on position.
MCP is now enabled for your scope.
TIP: If you have chosen Selected team(s), then you can add more teams to your scope anytime. Under the toggle, click Click to add more teams.
TIP: You can halt MCP usage anytime. Under Enable MCP, click the toggle to the off position.
NOTE: Users can generate content and write to Miro using Miro AI via their MCP connection, which consumes Miro AI credits.
