How to use search
To find a board or Space on the dashboard, click Search at the top of the page or press Ctrl + E (for Windows)/Cmd + E (for Mac). Start typing a board or Space name. Your most recently opened boards and Spaces appear under the search bar. You will see all matches that are shared with you in the current team.
If you want to see details about a specific board, click on the three dots (...) icon next to the board name and then select Board details. A modal will open with the following information:
- board classification
- board owner
- board description
- board creation date
- date of the last modification
- board location (Team name > Space name)
You can narrow the search by owner or Spaces (on Free plan, you can search by owner only). To apply filters, click on All filters or choose an owner in the drop-down list under the search bar. To remove a filter, click X.
The search window will display results based on the current team you're in.
You can also share, rename, move boards, and perform other key actions via the menu right from the search results. The menu with all options will open up when you click on the three dots (...) next to the board name.

💡 Use this feature together with search filters to streamline board organization – for example, you can filter boards by owner and move them to a team or project quicker than before.
💡 Feel free to install Chrome Search Extension for Miro. Once the extension is added, type 'Miro' in the browser address bar and press the Tab key. The extension enables a quick search for Miro boards immediately from the address bar.
Advanced search
Available for: Education, Starter, Business, and Enterprise plans
Users on Education, Starter, Business, and Enterprise plans can use the search bar to find specific words or phrases in board and Space titles and descriptions, and widgets, comments, and sticky notes.
If you're on the Business or Enterprise plan, you can also search all teams from your dashboard, making it possible to find related content throughout your entire subscription.
The search window will show all the content items that contain the word or phrase you are looking for. You can click on each item under the Content section to view search results and expand the list of matches by clicking on the arrow on the left of the board name.
When you click on a specific search result under this section, the board will open to the specific location of the board where that search result exists so you don’t have to look for it.
