There are three modes of board navigation — Mouse, Trackpad, and Touchscreen. Depending on what controls you use, Miro will set the mode that works best.
Watch this handy video on navigation on the board and read the article below to find out more details on different modes.
You can change the navigation mode in the board Settings menu in the right upper corner:

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I work in Miro with graphic tablets?
- You can use graphic tablets for working in Miro but we do not provide a special navigation mode for stylus (or any other digital pens). It works but only on the basic level which means that specific button settings won’t work. For the best experience, we recommend switching to the Mouse mode while using the pen.
2. What navigation mode do I use on a hybrid device (laptop/tablet)?
- If you use a hybrid machine, Miro will set the Touchscreen navigation mode by default. You can change the mode if you wish.
