We've streamlined how custom labels work in Data discovery, making it simpler to create, manage, and maintain the labels you use to detect sensitive information on your boards.
With this update, admins can:
- Create one type of custom label for any kind of information, instead of separate label types for privacy-related and business-sensitive data. Each label now has a single Category field (Privacy-related or Business-sensitive) set at creation.
- Manage all labels (built-in, privacy-related, business-sensitive, and custom) from one unified table, with quick filters to find what you need.
- Create up to 100 custom labels in total, regardless of category, under a single combined limit.
- Edit a label's conditions at any time. If a label is already used in a classification, Miro now warns you if the change could reclassify boards, so you can decide how to proceed.
- Set up privacy-related and business-sensitive detection together in a single guided setup, instead of two separate activation flows.
- See scan results directly in the labels table: each label shows a live board count and when it was last scanned, with no separate results page to check.
