Miro Academy offers a range of educational content, including courses and learning paths, designed to help you master Miro and enhance your skills. To help you showcase your Miro expertise, Miro offers digital badges awarded through specific learning paths. These learning paths consist of a course and an accompanying quiz.

A digital badge is an online, visual representation of a verified achievement, such as a specific skill. These badges can be shared across various online platforms, including social media, personal profiles, and resumes, providing a credible way to display your Miro proficiency.

Earn a badge

To earn a Miro Academy digital badge:

1. Sign in or register for Miro Academy.
2. Complete the course associated with the badge you want.
3. Pass the quiz associated with the course with a score of at least 80%.
   1. The quiz is not timed.
   2. You can retake the quiz multiple times until you achieve a score of 80% or higher.
   3. You are welcome to reference the course materials or other resources while taking the quiz.

Access and view your badge

Miro Academy partners with Credly to issue digital badges. Once you've completed the badge requirements in Miro Academy:

1. Credly will send you an email invitation to claim your badge.
2. Follow the instructions in the email to claim your badge.
   1. If you are new to Credly, you will be prompted to create a profile.
   2. If you have an existing Credly profile, ensure you use the same email address associated with your Miro Academy account so all your badges appear on one profile.
3. Once claimed, your badge will be visible on your Credly profile page.
4. Share your badge on social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), download it, or embed it on personal websites or company platforms.

What badges are currently available?

As of now, five digital badges are available:

• Miro essentials
• Mapping and diagramming
• Collaborative meetings
• Client collaboration
• Miro users support

More badges are planned for release.

Do I need to complete a course again to earn a badge if I already completed it?

If you have already completed a course that now offers a badge, you do not need to retake the course. You only need to successfully complete the accompanying quiz with a score of 80% or higher to earn the badge.

How many times can I reattempt the quiz?

You can attempt a quiz as many times as needed. A badge will be awarded once you achieve a score of at least 80%.

How long is my badge valid for?

Miro Academy digital badges do not expire. However, as Miro evolves, new badges will be introduced. It is recommended that Miro users obtain the latest "Miro essentials" badge to reflect current knowledge.

Can I show my badge on my Miroverse profile?

Completed Miro Academy courses will automatically be showcased on your Miroverse profile, if you have one.

For assistance with your digital credential:

• Credly Support: For questions related to the Credly platform (e.g., issues signing into Credly, general platform inquiries), visit the Credly Help Center for articles or to submit a support ticket.
• Miro Support: For questions related to Miro Academy courses or content (e.g., if you did not receive your badge, if you encounter a bug in a course or quiz, issues signing into Miro Academy), contact Miro support.
