Miro Academy badges

Miro Academy is a collection of educational content, including courses, to help you build your skills in Miro. Miro is rolling out digital badges via learning paths to help you showcase your Miro skills. Badge-eligible learning paths include a course and quiz.

What is a digital badge?

A digital badge is a visual representation of a verified achievement such as a skill. Badges are issued, accessed, and displayed online, and can be shared on social media channels, personal profiles, and resumes.

How do I earn a badge?

• You will have to sign in or register for Miro Academy to take the quiz. This is how we recognize you to award you a badge
• Badges are earned by completing specific requirements. To earn a badge you will need to complete the associated course and score at least an 80% on the quiz
• The quiz is not timed
• You can take the quiz as many times as you like and will still receive a badge once you get an 80% or higher
• You’re welcome to reference the course or other resources to support you on the quiz

What badges are currently available?

There are currently five badges available: Miro essentials, Mapping and diagramming, Collaborative meetings, Client collaboration, and Miro users support. The badges are awarded to those who complete the associated course and score at least 80% on the quiz. More badges will be available throughout 2023.

Where can I see my badge?

Miro Academy is partnering with credentialing vendor Credly to issue badges. Upon completion of badge requirements on Miro Academy, you will be issued a badge via Credly and will be invited to claim it. Once you do so, you’ll create a Credly profile and you will be able to access and view your badge on your Credly profile page. If you’ve received a badge on Credly before, be sure to use the same email address so that all your badges appear as part of the same profile. Additionally, you can share the badge on social media, display it on your LinkedIn profile, and download or embed the badge to use in other locations such as on a personal website or within your company platforms.

Additionally, when you finish a course, it will now automatically be showcased on your Miroverse profile, if you have one.

Do I need to complete a course again to earn a badge if I already completed it?

You will not need to complete a course again to earn a badge, you will only need to score an 80% or higher on the accompanying quiz to get your badge.

How many times can I reattempt the quiz?

You can reattempt a quiz as many times as you want and will still be awarded a badge once you score at least an 80% on the quiz.

How long is my badge valid for?

Your badge will never expire, however, we plan to add new badges as Miro grows. We will recommend Miro users have the latest Miro essentials badge.
