Miro uses machine learning models along with your input to generate or modify content on your board. Miro AI can do things like generate images, remove an image’s background, generate sticky notes, and more. Learn more about the current features available in Miro AI.

- Miro AI is only available for Members. Guests and visitors cannot use Miro AI
How to enable/disable Miro AI
- Go to your profile settings by clicking the Settings icon in the top-left corner and choosing Profile settings
You can also do this from the dashboard by clicking your avatar in the top right corner and choosing Settings
- From the panel at left, click Feature access
- In the Feature enablement panel under “Miro AI” you’ll see three options:
No one can use - this turns off Miro AI for your entire company
Everyone can use - this turns on Miro AI for your entire company
Specific teams can use - you can select which teams can use Miro AI
💡 You can enable Miro AI for up to 10 selected teams. A recommended practice is to start with one team to test out the capabilities, then expand to other teams before rolling out across the organization.
- Make your selection. The change will be effective immediately
I’m an Admin and want to enable/disable Miro AI, how can I do this?
Admins can use the toggle in their profile settings to enable/disable Miro AI. Steps can be found in the “How to enable/disable Miro AI
” section above.
Why is Miro AI in beta?
The beta program allows us to gain valuable user feedback to improve Miro AI as a service. If you have Admin-related feedback, please share it with your Miro contact person.
How will my data be used?
Where is my data processed?
Data is processed on servers that reside in the EU.
Which AI models does Miro AI use?
Miro AI uses multiple models, including Microsoft Azure AI and Miro’s own models, depending on the use case, and of course, takes advantage of the latest advancements in generative AI and language models. The data submitted through Miro AI is not used for any other purposes, such as model training.
