Access request settings
Within your Access request settings, you'll find an overview of all current license and team access requests. Requests can be made by the individual needing access, or on behalf of someone else.
Access request details include:
- The name of the user the license request is for
- The name of the team the user is asking to join (Business Plan only)
- The name of the requester
- The date of the request
- A message from the requestor explaining the reason for the request
✏️ All requests will automatically expire and be removed after 30 days.

How to accept or deny license and team requests
- Go to your Miro settings.
- Click Company.
- Under User management, click Access requests.
- The Access requests section will open. Here you can view any pending requests.
- Under the Actions column, click the checkmark (✓) to accept, or the x to decline the request.
- When you accept or decline the request, a modal will open with the request details, along with a message from the requester.
- Click Approve to approve the request, or Deny to decline the request. Once you accept or deny a request, it will be removed from your access request overview.
- If the license request is approved, the user will be added to the team with a full license. If you’ve reached your total allocated licenses, an extra license will be added to your subscription, and you will receive a prorated invoice.
Managing access requests
License and team access requests
Certain actions or events in Miro will trigger license and team access requests automatically. The scenarios outlined below detail how these access requests can be initiated.
Once a request is approved, the user will be granted a Full license and will become a member within your subscription, and/or will also be granted team access.
