Reforge Build users can export their prototypes as React projects in .zip files. In Miro, users can also convert their Reforge prototypes into editable Miro Prototypes.
Export your prototypes from Reforge Build
To export your Reforge Build prototypes, you can download prototypes as .zip files. The files contain your full React projects with Tailwind CSS. You can open the files in any IDE.
Follow these steps:
- In Reforge Build, open your prototype.
- Above the preview panel, click
<>to open Code mode. - On the right, click the down arrow to Download code as ZIP.
A.zipfile downloads. All prototype components, routes, and styles are conserved.
Import editable prototypes from Reforge Build to Miro
To import prototypes from Reforge Build to Miro, take screenshots of your prototypes and paste them on a Miro canvas. Then you can convert the screenshots into editable prototypes in Miro.
In Reforge Build
- Open your prototype.
- On the right, click Open in new tab.
Your prototype preview opens in a separate browser tab.In Reforge Build, you can open your prototype preview in a new tab.
- Take a screenshot of your prototype. Use any screenshot tool, Dev Tools, or keyboard commands.

Copy the screenshot to your clipboard. Or save the screenshot to your desktop as an image file.
TIP: If your Reforge prototype scrolls, then zoom out until the prototype is completely viewable. Then take your screenshot. Zoom does not impact conversion in Miro.
In Miro
- On a Miro board, paste the screenshot, or drag the saved image file to the canvas.
- Click to select the imported image.
The context menu appears. - Click Convert to and select Prototype.
The Sidekicks panel opens and converts your screenshot to an editable prototype.In Miro, you can convert screenshots into editable prototypes.
- (Optional) Continue to prompt the Sidekick to iterate your prototype.
- Click Add to canvas.
Your Reforge Build prototype is now an editable prototype in Miro.
