For knowledge workers looking to innovate faster, Miro AI enhances workflows and collaboration. It integrates AI capabilities into Miro's platform to automate tasks like insight clustering, diagramming, and content creation. Unlike other visual collaboration tools, Miro AI helps teams leverage AI across a wider variety of workflows and across their existing processes more efficiently.
Miro AI usage is based on a credit system, where most AI actions consume 1 credit per action. Some AI capabilities consume more per action.
For example, Miro Prototypes consumes 5 credits per generated screen.
Miro allocates a set number of AI credits to your account each month. For Enterprise plans, the balance resets on the first day of each calendar month. Unused AI credits do not carry over.

Miro AI credit consumption
Every AI action consumes AI credit from your monthly allocation. For example, the Miro Prototypes add-on consumes five (5) AI credits per AI-generated screen, and any AI-generated image consumes three (3).

NOTE: Sidekicks consume 2 AI credits each time you execute a prompt. Ensure your prompts are as detailed as possible to reduce the number of executions needed to achieve your result.
NOTE: If Miro AI is unable to generate output, and shows an error message, then no AI credit is consumed.
NOTE: Accessibility features, like generating image alt-text, do not consume AI credit.
AI Credits included for Enterprise users
For an Enterprise subscription, AI credit allocation varies based on license tier. In Admin Console, Company admins can monitor their organization's credit allocation and usage.
Go to Admin Console > Billing > Subscription.
The following table shows AI credit allocation per license tier as of March 2, 2026. Credit consumption per feature may change as models are optimized, or new models become available.

NOTE: AI credit allocation is subject to change.
AI credits are pooled across the entire organization, and any credits used consume from that single pool of AI credits.
If your paid user count changes throughout the term, the number of allotted AI credits will adjust dynamically, with usage limits changing to fit the new number of team members on the next billing date.
Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
Which user roles can use AI Credits?
Any member of your account can use AI credits when performing the actions listed above. Guests and Visitors cannot perform AI actions and therefore cannot use AI credits.
What happens when my organization reaches the limit?
Enterprise plans have a soft limit on their AI Credit usage, which means you’ll be allowed to go over your limits. If you regularly exceed your monthly AI Credit allocation, you’ll need to purchase the Miro AI credit Add-On to get additional AI Credits.

While every Miro account gets an allotted number of AI credits each billing cycle, Miro AI credit Add-Ons are available for users who need additional AI credits.

How to check your AI credit balance
In Enterprise plans, the AI Credits section can be found on your Subscription settings page with how many credits you’ve used in the current month, and how many are remaining.
