For knowledge workers looking to innovate faster, Miro AI enhances workflows and collaboration. It integrates AI capabilities into Miro's platform to automate tasks like insight clustering, diagramming, and content creation. Unlike other visual collaboration tools, Miro AI helps teams leverage AI across a wider variety of workflows and across their existing processes more efficiently.
Miro AI usage is based on a credit system, with 1 credit being used for each AI action you perform.
What actions use an AI credit?
One AI credit is used each time you use Miro AI to generate or modify content. Here is a list of user actions that use an AI credit:
- Creating an image.
- Creating a diagram — flowchart, mindmap, or ERD.
- Creating a Doc.
- Using board objects to create a Doc.
- Fixing grammar & spelling.
- Shortening text.
- Rewriting text for clarity.
- Changing the tone of text.
- Translating text.
- Generating a mindmap from a root node.
- Expanding on board content with questions, ideas, or topics.
- Clustering Sticky Notes by sentiment or keywords.
- Removing the background from an image.
- Converting real stickies into fully editable Miro Sticky Notes.
- Classifying images.
If for some reason Miro AI can’t generate an output, no credits are used. In this instance, an error message will be displayed.
AI Credits included for Enterprise users
Enterprise accounts get 100 credits per license per month, which resets monthly. This credit allocation is generous and exceeds what the majority of customers are likely to need. Unused credits will not carry over into the next month. These credits will be pooled across your entire organization, and any credits used will use credits from that single pool of AI credits.
If your paid user count changes throughout the term, the number of allotted AI credits will adjust dynamically, with usage limits changing to fit the new number of team members on the next billing date.
Which user roles can use AI Credits?
Any member of your account can use AI credits when performing the actions listed above. Guests and Visitors cannot perform AI actions and therefore cannot use AI credits.
What happens when my organization reaches the limit?
Enterprise plans have a soft limit on their AI Credit usage, which means you’ll be allowed to go over your limits occasionally. If you regularly exceed your AI Credit allocation each month, you’ll need to purchase the Miro AI Add-On to access unlimited AI Credits.
Miro AI Add-On
While every Miro account gets an allotted number of AI credits each billing cycle, Miro AI Add-On is available for users who need unlimited AI credits.
To get Miro AI Add-On, Enterprise Plan admins will need to contact your account team for more information and to upgrade. Pricing for Miro AI Add-On is per license, and will apply to all paid licenses in the subscription.
How to check your AI credit balance
In Enterprise plans, the AI Credits section can be found on your Subscription settings page with how many credits you’ve used in the current month, and how many are remaining.
