Activating privacy-related data discovery allows you to automatically discover, classify, and protect highly-sensitive data, such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, passport numbers, or authentication tokens, on your Miro boards. This helps avoid non-compliance issues and reduce risks associated with data sprawl and data leakage across your enterprise, without slowing down your business.
The data discovery cycle runs at least once every hour and scans all board updates for highly-sensitive information. This includes boards that were already scanned in the previous data discovery cycle.
