Creating a new Miro board in one click
While setting up an event in Google Calendar, click the Create new board button next to Miro icon if you plan to invite your meeting participants to a brand new Miro board. If you have several teams connected, you will be asked to choose a team where the board will be created. The board will have the title of the meeting. If the meeting hasn't been named yet, the board's name will be Untitled. All meeting participants who are members of your Miro team where the board has been created will be automatically invited to the board as editors.
You will find the board link in the event description.
Attaching a brand new Miro board to a Google event
⚠️ You cannot change the board name in the description - editing the link will only result in changing the link's text. The board's name can only be changed on the Miro's side.
⚠️ Please note that attaching Miro boards to Google Calendar meetings or creating new ones do not work for events that are in the past.
Attaching a Miro board to a meeting
To add an existing Miro board to an event, click Choose existing board and select a board in the picker:

✏️ You can attach multiple boards to one meeting by clicking the button.
The extension allows you to invite all meeting participants as viewers/commenters/editors or leave the board settings untouched. Once you hit Save, all meeting participants will be automatically invited to the board and will get email invitations (if it is allowed in their notification settings). Please note, if an invitee is not a member of your team, they won't be added to the board. Please make sure that all meeting participants already take seats in your account.
If you don't wish to change the existing board sharing settings, choose As in sharing settings.
Choosing board access settings for meeting participants
✏️ Please note that access of previously invited board users will not be degraded.
Users that will be added to the meeting later on will also get invitations to the attached board (if they are a part of the team). All meeting guests get access to the board if this is configured in the board access settings in Google Calendar.
Users removed from the meeting will not be removed from the attached board. Please change their access level on the Miro's side.
Removing the extension
