Quickly create a user story map using our fast, flexible framework! User Story Mapping is an interactive template created with the help of the method invented by Jeff Patton. This tool makes working with user stories in agile development a lot easier. It is a better version of the backlog that will help you more effectively explain your product, prioritize, and plan releases.

To get the User Story Mapping tool to the toolbar, find User Story Mapping in the Marketplace, click Install, choose the team and click Authorize. A new icon will appear among the Apps and you can drag it to the toolbar for quick access.

There are two simple ways to add a User Story Map to the board:
1. Drag the User Story Mapping icon from the toolbar and drop it on the board.
2. Select the User Story Mapping icon and click the board.

Use the following shortcuts to speed up the creation process:
- Enter to move between task, its activity and stories;

Tab to create a new activity;

Arrows to move between elements of the User Story Map;

Ctrl/Cmd+C and Ctrl/Cmd+V to duplicate a card;

Escape to exit the Edit mode;

Delete to delete the whole Card.

It is better to set the board scale to 100% to create a User Story Map.
While in the edit mode, you will see the icon in the bottom right corner of the board next to the board zoom. Here you can find some useful tips that will remind you of the main functions and commands of the User Story Mapping.

Editing
When the card is rolled up you can only edit its heading, but all settings are available: you can change the color of the card, add tags, assign tasks to your team members, add links and dates. Click on the Expand icon to add or watch the description of the card.

Releases
Add release feature helps to separate product development iterations. There are two ways to add a release:
1. Via the pop-up Control. Click on "+" to add a new Release.
2. Add a release above or below via the Context menu. It can also be moved down, renamed or deleted.
