Which plans: Business (Legacy), Business, Starter
NOTE: This article uses "Business" to refer to the current Business + AI Workflows plan, and "Business (Legacy)" for plans purchased before this change. To learn more, see Introducing the Business + AI Workflows plan.
Starting June 29, Miro Prototypes and Miro Engage are included with the Business plan as core features.
We're making this change because we believe Miro's advanced capabilities are more powerful together in a single plan. One that now includes, AI Sidekicks and Workflows, MCP, Advanced Data Tables, Miro Prototypes, and Miro Engage.
This article explains why the change is happening, what it means depending on your current plan, and what happens to your existing content.
What's changing
To simplify things, instead of requiring separate purchases to access our most powerful features, we're including them directly in the Business plan.
Specifically:
- Miro Prototypes moves from a paid add-on into the Business plan.
- Miro Engage ends its free beta and is included in the Business plan.
To learn which Prototypes features have been included with the add-on versus free, see Miro Prototypes overview.
What this means for you
If you are on a Business plan
No action needed. Miro Prototypes and Miro Engage will automatically be included in your plan. If you currently pay for the Prototypes add-on, it will stop renewing from June 29 and be removed at the end of your current billing period. Your access to Prototypes continues uninterrupted.
NOTE: The Prototypes add-on includes additional Miro AI credits. These credits continue to be available until the add-on is removed.
TIP: To check which plan you are currently on, go to your Miro dashboard. In the upper-left, click your team name. The drop-down shows your organization, and your plan. If you see Business + AI Workflows, you are on the full-featured Business plan and no action is needed.
If you are on a Business (Legacy) plan
To keep access to Miro Prototypes and Miro Engage, you need to upgrade to the current Business plan. If you currently pay for the Prototypes add-on, it will stop renewing from July 15 and will be removed at the end of your billing period after that date.
To try the full-featured Business plan, you can start a free Business trial.
NOTE: The Prototypes add-on includes additional Miro AI credits. These credits continue to be available until the add-on is removed.
If you are on a Starter plan
To keep access to Miro Prototypes and Miro Engage, you need to upgrade to the current Business plan. If you currently pay for the Prototypes add-on, it will stop renewing from July 15 and will be removed at the end of your billing period after that date.
NOTE: The Prototypes add-on includes additional Miro AI credits. These credits continue to be available until the add-on is removed.
To try the full-featured Business plan, you can start a free Business trial.
If you are on an Enterprise plan
No Enterprise-specific changes at this time.
What happens to your existing content
- Miro Prototypes: Content on your boards is not affected, however Prototypes features such as preview mode and connectors will become inactive at the end of your current billing period if you are on a plan that does not include Prototypes.
- Miro Engage: Existing activities on your boards will no longer be accessible if you are on a plan that does not include Engage. Your activities are not deleted.
In both cases, full access is restored if you upgrade to the Business plan or start a Business plan trial after June 29.
Learn more about the Business plan
You're welcome to upgrade to the Business plan now, but Miro Prototypes and Miro Engage won't be available until June 29. After then you can also start a Business plan trial and Prototypes and Engage are included.
