Enable Web Push notifications (Beta)

Who can do it: All users
Which plans: Free, Starter, Business, Enterprise, Education
Which platforms: Browser, Desktop

Web Push notifications are currently in beta and available to a limited number of users. If you don’t see Web Push in your Miro notification settings, the feature isn’t available to you yet.

Web Push notifications let you receive updates from Miro even when Miro isn’t open in your browser.

If you previously blocked Web Push notifications for Miro, you’ll need to allow them again in your browser settings.

Chrome

1. Open Miro.
2. Click the site controls icon next to the address bar.
3. Set Notifications → Allow.
4. Refresh Miro.

Edge

1. Open Miro.
2. Click the site information icon next to the address bar.
3. Open Permissions for this site.
4. Set Notifications → Allow and refresh Miro.

Safari

Go to Safari → Settings → Websites → Notifications, find Miro, and select Allow.

Still not receiving Web Push notifications?

If Miro is allowed in your browser but you still don’t receive notifications, check that notifications for your browser are enabled in your computer settings:

• macOS: System Settings → Notifications → select your browser → turn on Allow notifications
• Windows: Settings → System → Notifications → make sure notifications are enabled for your browser

Also check whether Focus / Do Not Disturb is preventing notifications from appearing.
