Who can do it: Team admins, Company admins
Which plans: Starter, Business
Which platforms: Browser, Desktop
If you add a new team member and all the licenses in your plan are already in use, an extra license is automatically added. This guide provides steps to manage these additional licenses.
Managing license adjustments and billing
Before being billed for extra licenses
To avoid additional charges on your next bill, you need to remove the extra license before your billing date.
Upon adjusting your team size, a confirmation will be sent. Your bill will be updated to reflect the correct number of licenses, charging only for the days the extra license(s) were used.
After being billed for extra licenses
If your recent bill includes extra license charges, the first step is to remove the extra license.
Removing licenses after the billing date will not trigger an immediate refund; instead, the unused time is credited to your next bill.
