You can cancel your Miro subscription at any time. Learn how to cancel your subscription, what happens to your Miro boards after you cancel, and how to reactivate a subscription if you change your mind.
Who can do it: Team Admins, Company Admins, Billing Admins
How to cancel your subscription
- If you're a member of several teams, switch to the team with the subscription you want to cancel.
- Click your profile avatar, and then click Admin console.
- On the left sidebar, click Billing.
The Billing Overview page appears. -
Under the Billing actions section, click Cancel subscription.
A dialog box appears. - Click Continue to cancel.
- Click the Cancel subscription option, and then click the Cancel subscription button.
- In step 1/2, select the reason why you are are cancelling your subscription, and then click Continue to cancel.
- In step 2/2, if you are switching to another tool, click the appropriate option, and then click Cancel subscription.
A dialog box appears confirming your cancellation.

Under the Billing actions section, click Cancel subscription.
A dialog box appears. - Click Continue to cancel.
- In step 1/2, select the reason why you are are cancelling your subscription, and then click Continue to cancel.
- In step 2/2, if you are switching to another tool, click the appropriate option, and then click Cancel subscription.
A dialog box appears confirming your cancellation.
What happens after I cancel my subscription?
Once you cancel the subscription, all Admins receive an email notifying them the subscription is set to expire. They can no longer change the team size or the plan type unless you reactivate your subscription.
When the billing period for your subscription ends, your Miro boards will be locked in view-only mode for all team members until you downgrade to a free plan or renew your subscription. The boards will not be deleted. More information can be found in the article What happens when a subscription expires.
There are no refunds for any unused time, however you’ll be able to use all paid features until the end of the paid period. If you have an unpaid invoice for additional seats (licenses), your card is charged immediately at the moment of cancellation. Learn more in Billing and payments.

How to reactivate my subscription
If you change your mind after canceling, you'll be able to reactivate your subscription before or after it expires in the Overview tab of your Billing settings. The Overview tab displays the expiration date for your current plan.
To reactivate your subscription:
- If you're a member of several teams, switch to the team with the subscription you want to cancel.
- Click your profile avatar, and then click Admin console.
- On the left sidebar, click Billing.
The Billing Overview page appears. -
Under the Billing actions section, click Reactivate subscription.
A dialog box appears confirming that your subscription is reactivated.
