Miro plans are flexible, which means you can upgrade or downgrade at any time.
How upgrades work
You can upgrade Teams within Miro. A Team is a collection of boards and projects. Your Miro plan is connected to your team.
You can be a member of multiple teams by creating your own, or through invitation to teams owned by other Miro users.
You can view and navigate between all your current teams in the panel on the left side of your dashboard.

Billing changes after upgrading your plan
As soon as you complete the purchase, your team will be upgraded and you’ll receive a payment receipt to your email address and within your billing settings.
- After upgrading, the person who purchased the subscription is promoted to Billing Admin. The Billing Admin is the cardholder who pays for the subscription. They have access to Billing settings as long as they're a member of the team. Billing Admins can add or remove licenses, cancel and reactivate the subscription, as well as request refunds.
- If you upgrade a paid team, for example Starter to Business, a new billing period will begin and you’ll receive a new invoice. The prorated amount for any unused time on your previous plan will be deducted from your new invoice.
- If you upgrade with invoicing, the invoice will be sent within an hour to your billing email. The invoice will include your new billing due date. It should be paid within 30 days. Remember to add your company invoice details during the upgrade. Invoices are finalized within 1 hour and you'll be able to download and pay the invoice either in your Miro billing settings or in the billing email.
