If you have trouble locating a Miro board or some content on a board is missing, these simple steps may help you resolve the issue in a matter of minutes.
💡 To secure your content, be sure to save board backups.

Check your Miro teams and use search
If you're a member of multiple Miro teams, switch between the teams on the left sidebar of your dashboard to see if the board is stored in one of the teams. Click Boards in this team on the left to see all boards in a specific team. Use search to locate a needed board.

You may also need to apply correct filters to view all boards.

Log in to your other Miro profiles
If you're registered with Miro with 2 or more emails, log in to your other profiles and check if you can access the board while being logged in under a different email.
Switch to the Trash bin
If you cannot locate your board on the dashboard, switch to Trash and check if you can restore the board from there. Note that Free plan users can restore boards only by following the board link (check the next step).

Find the board link in the browser history or inbox
If you're on Free plan or still cannot locate the board, try to find the board link in your browser history or inbox and restore it by following the link. Note that only board owners can restore boars deleted within the last 30 days after the deletion. If the board was deleted more than 30 days ago or as a part of a removed team, you will see the message Board does not exist.
Check your custom templates
If the board was located in a paid or Education team, check your custom templates with a similar name - it is possible that you initially created a template and not a board.
✏️ It is also possible that you were deleted from the team where your board was located. When removing a user, the Admin can reassign the user's boards or delete them. If the board has not been deleted, you may follow the board link and request access from the current owner. If the board has been deleted, you can ask the Team Admin to restore it within 30 days.
Board content is missing
Check your board history and restore content
Open the board and click the Open sidebar icon on the bottom-left corner. In the opened board overview, click the Board history icon. If you see relevant deletion events there, you can easily restore deleted elements. Please note that there are certain limitations - check the Restoring board content guide for more details.
💡 Users on paid plans can also try using the board versioning feature.
Restoring content on the board
Review the board on the mini-map
If there are no deletion events in the board history, there is a chance that the content is still there. We recommend checking the board mini-map in the bottom right corner to spot hidden elements.
Check your other boards
If the issue persists, look over other Miro boards and custom templates with a similar name.
