Miro Prototypes is a paid add-on for Starter, Business, and Enterprise plans.
This article explains what's changing for Miro Prototypes, when, and how it impacts your team.

What's changing?

Enterprise (October 2025)
The beta program ends. To enable Miro Prototypes for your organization, as Company admin, or Billing admin, do one of the following:- Contact your Miro sales representative.
- Complete this form.

Starter and Business (August 2025)
To continue to use Miro Prototypes features, as Company admin, or Billing admin, you must purchase the add-on. -
Free and Education (August 2025)
To be eligible to purchase the Miro Prototypes add-on, admins must upgrade to a paid plan.
✏️ Existing prototypes remain editable across all plans. Only advanced features, like AI tools, connector lines, and preview mode, are disabled if you do not purchase the Miro Prototypes add-on.
Pricing overview
The Miro Prototypes add-on includes a base price and flexible AI credit bundles. This lets you choose the amount of credits to match your team's needs.
The add-on is billed together with your plan and renews automatically unless you cancel it.
Here’s how billing and credits work:
- Added to Starter, Business, or Enterprise subscriptions
- Your chosen bundle increases your monthly AI credit limit
- Credits reset each month
- Credits are shared across all Miro AI features, including Prototypes
If you cancel your Starter or Business subscription, your Prototypes add-on will also be canceled. For Enterprise, billing and renewals follow your contract terms.
Enterprise Company admins can reach out to their Miro sales rep to discuss custom pricing.

Contact your Miro sales representative to purchase and enable. Miro Prototypes features will continue working until the beta program ends, after which they will require the add-on. -
Starter and Business
Manage in Billing Settings. You can optionally sign up for a 7-day free trial.
FAQ
Yes. On a Starter or Business plan, you can start a 7-day free trial from your Billing settings. Enterprise customers can request a trial through their Miro sales rep.
