The advanced user management in Miro allows account Admins to easily filter and manage access levels of all users in one place. The role and the license are the main factors that determine the user access level to the assets in your account.
Enterprise account role
There are three possible roles within the Enterprise and Consultant plan accounts in Miro.
Company Admin — can see and manage the account and create and edit boards.
Member — can create and edit boards; sees but can’t manage the account.
Non-Team User — can see and edit (on Occasional license) only boards that they are invited to; can’t create and own boards. Can’t see account or Teams.
|ROLE||Company Admin||Member||Non-Team User|

|Manage Teams and projects within the account||✔||✔||✔||✘||✘||✘|

|View and comment on shared boards||✔||✔||✔||✔||✔||✔|
There are three possible license types that you can assign to users.
Full — unlimited usage, billed monthly or yearly. Applicable to users with Member and Company Admin roles.
Occasional — using Day Passes — grants 24 hours of access to the account with role-specific permissions, consumes daily if applied. Applicable to all users.
Free — viewing and commenting option for Non-Team Users only.
1 Day Pass on Occasional license = 24 hours of access to the shared editable boards
The Occasional license includes all the functionality of a Full license. The difference is in the time of access. One Day Pass for the Occasional license equals 24 hours of access to the shared editable assets no matter how many times you log in/log out. It’s a great fit for occasional users who require a few days of participation in a project. Learn more in the dedicated article about the occasional license.
If your subscription includes a package of Day Passes and you invite new people to a Enterprise account, they will be assigned to Occasional license and Member role by default. You can switch them to Full license or Non-Team Users any time.
If your Non-Team Users are on the Free license, they are not able to edit boards. Editing is available starting from the Occasional license. They will be automatically switched to the Occasional license if they 1) received an invitation to boards with editing rights and 2) your Company has available Day Passes.
You can switch Company Admins between the Full and Occasional licenses by clicking ‘Change to Occasional Member’ or ‘Change to Full Member’ in the bulk actions.
