Looking for a quicker way to share all newly created Team boards or projects with a specific audience? Now you can customize the default sharing settings for boards and projects you and your team create, and share them from the very start with a particular level of access rights.
As an admin, feel free to adjust new boards' status to your workflow by going to your Account Settings > Permissions > Sharing Settings section.
Note that sharing settings of individual boards and projects can be changed by their owners and editors.

Board sharing settings
By default, all newly created boards are set as private and can only be visible to their owners. Choose from the drop-down menu whether you want all new team boards:
- to remain private
- to become accessible to any team member with Viewer, Commenter, or Editor rights
- to become accessible to any Enterprise account member, regardless of teams they participate in, with Viewer or Commenter rights.
⚠️ Company shared boards (on Enterprise accounts) do not appear on a dashboard unless users participate in the same team where the board is located. At the same time, all users of your Enterprise account can open such boards by a link, find such boards and open them from search results.
✏️ Team admins on the Team, Consultant, Business, and Education plans can configure default board content settings.
Project sharing settings
Choose from one of the two options:
- you can either keep new Team projects private and not accessible to anyone but their owner or;
- make them viewable for all members of your team so that the project owner doesn't need to add users from the team manually.
Once you set the general sharing settings for all newly created boards or projects, you will still be able to customize sharing settings for particular boards or projects by opening and editing them separately.
