Where to invite

Invite collaborators right from your Dashboard with the + Invite members button in the upper right corner.
Invite members button
In the pop-up window, you will be able to choose from three options:
- invite from Slack or Gmail contacts,
- add email addresses and send invitations,
- enable the invite link and share it with your teammates.
Adding invitees to the team
💡Make sure to enable the invite link in this window if you want to share boards and invite to the team via a private link.
Active users tab in the account settings
You will see the same pop-up window if you invite new members to your team from the Account Settings. Open Active users tab and click Invite new member.

Share window on a board
If you are an editor on a Miro board, you see the Share button in the right upper corner. This window will be described in the next section in more detail.
Share window available to editors
💡 Note that collaborators invited to a specific board as editors also become team members.
Ways to invite
Invite from Slack
You can invite in several clicks by using our Slack integration. Choose Invite from Slack (available in any sharing/invitation window). You will be redirected to the authorization page, click Allow.
Slack authorization page
After successful authorization, you will see a list of your Slack contacts. Select a person (or several to invite in bulk) you'd like to invite/share a board with, specify the access rights level and click Send invitations. This person will receive a notification to Miro Feed in Slack.

Invite via email
💡 To make email invitation process easier, link your Gmail account to enable the auto-complete function. Learn more about connecting Gmail in this article.
To invite someone personally by email, enter the email addresses of your invitees in the respective field (several addresses at once are accepted), set their access rights (if you are inviting from the board sharing window) and click Send invitations.
When inviting collaborators from the board sharing window, you can choose their role on the board
Your invitees will be notified by email receiving the letter with a path to the team dashboard (when invited from the dashboard or from the settings page) or directly to the board (when invited from a board sharing window).
✏️ Already registered users may be notified only via Miro Feed depending on the profile preferences they set
✏️ If an invitee is not yet registered, first the link from the letter will guide them through the registration procedure and then to the dashboard or board.
Sharing boards via a public link
You can share a board with anybody, including people who are not registered with Miro, by making the board accessible via a public link.
Open the Share window and chose the level of access for Anyone with the link (or Public link to board). You can choose between view, comment, and edit access (based on your subscription plan and settings).
Enabling public access to the board
Copy board link and share it with whoever you want to give access. People who follow your link won’t need to register with Miro to access the board. Registered users will appear on the board under their own names, while unregistered users (aka anonymous Guest Editors) will be shown as Guests.
Some of the plans (including Team, Consultant, Business, Education, and Enterprise) allow protecting access to the board with a password.
✏️ Public boards are not searchable on search engines
⚠️ The option to share with Commenter/Editor rights via a public link is not available on the Free Plan.
💡 If you'd like to have a public board (not shared with you explicitly) on your dashboard, star the board by clicking the icon in the upper-left corner and you'll find it in the Starred boards view.
Sharing boards and inviting to the team via a private link
To make sure that sharing via a private link is possible, open Account Settings > Permissions > find Invitation settings > choose who can invite users.
Admins set who can invite users
Also, make sure to check if the invite link is enabled in the Invite members window.
Choose the access level, copy the invite link and send it to your collaborators. Once the invitees click the link, they will be asked to sign in and will become members of your team and get instant access to the board.

Simply set permissions to View or Comment of the Anyone with the link at your company option and every member of your Enterprise account will be able to find the board in Search results, access it by a link (sign in required).
Sharing a board with a company
✏️ Company shared boards do not appear on a dashboard unless users participate in the same team where the board is located. At the same time, members of your Enterprise account can open such boards by a link, find such boards, and open them from search results.
✏️ Non-team users cannot access company shared boards (unless they are explicitly invited).
⚠️ The option to share a board with the entire company is not available if the Team privacy is enabled for the account.

Board owners on paid plans can define the group of users that can duplicate the board to their workspaces, download files/images/PDFs pasted on the board, copy widgets, export the board as an image/PDF, save it as a custom template. Admins can choose a default value for all newly created boards and restrict copying board content by users outside the team. Learn more about the feature in this article.
